MessageOps Office 365 SharePoint Migrator has been designed to help facilitate migrations from on premise SharePoint or File Server to Office 365 SharePoint. It’s extremely easy to use, and does not require that any agents installed on the servers. It also has the capability to support multiple jobs running at the same time.
The following libraries are currently supported:
- Document Libraries
- Custom Lists
- Announcements
- Tasks
- Wiki Libraries
- Photos
- Links
Additionally it can migrate data from on premise file servers to Office 365 document libraries.
Moving content is a matter of simply connecting to the Source and Target sites and copying and pasting the libraries.
It’s a great tool for organizations that have a basic SharePoint implementation they want to move to Office 365 and don’t want to pay for more expensive migration utilities. Speaking of the other 3rd party SharePoint migration utilities, we want to make it clear that this tool does not have all the features they do…not even close. We are working on adding more features, but it will probably never be as feature rich as they are.
